What is Seasonale?

Seasonale is approved contraceptive pill that includes ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel – hormones that affect ovulation and the menstrual cycle of women. The combination of ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel prevent ovulation (the expulsion of an egg from the ovary) avoiding the risk of pregnancy.

What is Aviane?

Aviane is a contraceptive (it prevents pregnancy) consists of a combination progestin (levonorgestrel) and estrogen (ethinyl estradiol). This work by preventing ovulation (the release of an egg from an ovary) and changing the cervical mucus to prevent penetration of sperm and ovum implantation.
