Lidocaine 2.5% and Prilocaine 2.5%

Before using EMLA cream, consult your doctor or pharmacist and read package insert carefully.

Dosage: Apply cream in a thick layer to the area to be treated. Do not rub in. Cover with air tight dressing ensuring edges are secure to avoid leakage. Application time: Intact skin: at least 1 hr; leg ulcers at least 30 mins; genital mucosa: 5 to 10 mins (dressing not required). Not for use on individuals with methemoglobinemia. Do not use on infants under 3 mos. unless instructed by a doctor.
